Retro Kenner-style Alien Figures by Super7

Here is the press release about the upcoming "ReAction" (Retro Action) Alien figures by Super7. I am very excited about these perhaps because they are so similar to Kenner's Star Wars figures and have that classic nostalgic look! In addition, there will be a set of 2 "prototype/salesmen samples" that will be available at Comic-Con!

In 1979, prototypes for 3 ¾” action figures for the ALIEN film were developed but never manufactured.  Through our network of industry and collector contacts, Super7 has unearthed reference material and original 34-year-old prototypes and will now make these “lost toys” a reality. Under authorization from 20th Century Fox, Super7 will produce the full series of ALIEN toys as part of our ReAction Figure Series (Retro-Action).  Each is stylized exactly as items from the “golden age” of action figures with approximately five points of articulation, accessories, and period-authentic blister card packaging.

Revolver Girl Arctic 6ix - SDCC 2013 Exclusive

Revolver Girl Arctic 6ix Edition is a must have! Kuso Vinyl has hit a home-run with this vinyl figure! It reminds me of Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider (at the end of the movie in the snow scene!) Last year's Comic-Con version was the 'Barenaked' Edition and it was pretty cool, but judging by the mock-up of other versions below, the best is yet to come and the Arctic version might be my favorite!

Mass Effect Bronze Normandy SR-1 Comic-Con Exclusive

The San Diego Comic-Con exclusive reveals continue to awe fans and this next announcement is drool worthy! Dark Horse has revealed their sixth show exclusive: Mass Effect: Bronze Normandy SR-1 Ship Replica. This bronze plated 6.75-inch long replica on base depicts Commander Shepard's starship in the first Mass Effect game (It was replaced by the SR-2 in Mass Effect 2). Packaged in full-color box, the Bronze Normandy SR-1 Ship Replica is limited to 300 pieces!

Gentle Giant just announced another San Diego Comic Con Exclusive... GALACTUS! (note: I've used all caps for GALACTUS to draw attention to the magnitude of awesomeness!) This bust also features a detailed Silver Surfer on his intergalactic surfboard!

Hasbro's continues to surprise us! They are NOT yet done announcing their exclusives for San Diego Comic Con 2013.

So far Hasbro has revealed the following:

No word on how many more exclusives Hasbro has to reveal or for which brands. One may be the rumored SDCC Exclusive Metroplex version for Transformers, and some believe there is still a single carded G.I. Joe figure. Another brand that could see an exclusive is something for Hasbro's Kre-O lines. Whatever it is, we should be hearing soon since SDCC is only weeks away now
