Comic-Con 2010 was Incredible!

Well, as usual, San Diego Comic-Con was a blast! For the 6th year 3rd Millenium Toys attended the convention and successfully purchased collectible toys, dolls and autographs for over 200 of our most valuable customers. We will be posting pictures very soon!

Plush Hydra, Griffin & Chimera

I want these! Greek Mythology plush made by Toy Vault. Unfortunately, they are out of print (made in 2008). I've been able to track down the Chimera, which just arrived in the mail and it's even better in person!

Plush Poop @ Comic-Con by Anna Chambers

I laugh everytime I see these creative creations! Anna Chambers has been creating plush "burgerlogs" for years and will debut the first Glow-In-The-Dark "Ghost" version at Comic-Con next week. She only made 3 of them!

Star Wars vintage figures "Grow Up"

Just like they were when you were a kid, only BIGGER! Gentle Giant is excited to debut their new line of vintage Star Wars Action figure reproductions with the release of this classic Empire Strikes Back Stormtrooper.

Digitally scanned from mint 3 ¾” Kenner originals and reproduced to a substantial 12” tall. Nothing has been overlooked. Injection molded and made of durable plastics, this jumbo figure includes a faithfully reproduced blaster and is fully articulated! That’s not all, this classic Kenner creation comes packaged on a 1980, Empire Strikes Back inspired blister card with a plastic outer clam shell to help protect and display this limited edition convention exclusive!

And guess what? Gentle Giant has announced that they will be making all 12 of the original Star Wars figures!! Here is a sneak peak of the back of the carded figure:

The 12" figures are feature in this month of Toyfare Magazine (look carefully to see the vintage small figures compared to their new jumbo counterparts!)

Super7 SDCC Exclusives

Super7 announced their San Diego Comic-Con exclusives via a new website (click here) Careful... there are over 20 new figures to choose from. My personal favorite is the Mummy Boy, pictured below! If you are attending Comic-Con make sure you rush to their booth because these won't last long!

Well, it's official... Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) will make his first domestic Star Wars convention appearance at Star Wars Celebration V. He joins Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia), and a host of other Star Wars favorites in Orlando to celebration the 30th anniv. of The Empire Strikes Back.
